The hotel was in the central setting to the historic downtown. The room was perfectly clean and I liked the ancient-style building.

Some people working there were not particularly friendly.

Had 1 night in Vadstena, spending my time here lovely. The room was well-kept with a queen size bed, ideal for me. The hotel was set in a central area near to garden and home and very near the bus stop and a monastery.

Enjoyed the steam room, hot baths, and massage treatments at the spa. Loved the convenience of the train station nearby. Stayed in a fascinating historic monastery with a terrace and mini golf.

Oh, just loved being woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of glass bottles being thrown away. So peaceful and restful.

Beautiful historical suite, luxurious bathtub. Great location, near lake and town. Amazing breakfast with lactose and gluten-free options. Perfect for hiking and water sports. Lovely setting for breakfast, Scandinavian textiles in the annex.

there were lovely beds and a seating area, a writing table, and iron/ironing board in the a double room. a bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus. location: the hotel was short walk to garden and home and the adjacent park and the historic downtown. we spent evenings at restaurang wasa, situated 900 feet from the property.

The place is quirky, the staff are helpful.

It boasts historic and top location near to the centre and the castle and the church and museum and the bus stop. The rooms are neat and brand-new, the beds are comfy. Would like to come again, no complaints whatsoever, liked our stay.

I had the most amazing stay at this historic hotel in Vadstena. The building itself is so genuine and the location is absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction during my stay. I loved every minute of it.

The kids had a great time playing in the playground while we enjoyed the beautiful cityscape. The hotel also had a lovely rooftop terrace where we could relax and take in the stunning views. It was the perfect place for our family to unwind and enjoy our vacation.

My children wanted more activities for kids to do in the hotel.
